**Head of Marketing, Personal Health - North America**

**Your challenge:**

We challenge you to become a key member of the NA Personal Health Management team by building, promoting and driving the Philips brand, reputation, and product portfolio across the North America Market. You will own the development, planning and activation of the brand, communications, digital marketing, and events, holding end to end responsibility for the efficacy, alignment and orchestration of all related business activities while also driving enhanced capabilities across the marketing function.

You must bring strong people management skills, a track record of leading teams through competitive and challenging market dynamics and focus on coaching for performance to create a dynamic and high performing marketing team. You will bring a deep commercial background, combining marketing and business acumen with a deep consumer obsession mindset.

The NA Marketing Leader will own a sizeable budget and ultimately be tied to business results and hence must bring a unique mix of functional marketing and business leadership skills. You will drive results through building the right mix of traditional marketing along with driving advanced capabilities and execution across digital marketing, social media and ecommerce platforms to activate and strengthen consumer activation in the market.

**Your responsibilities:**

+ Manage and deliver on our P&L commitments for all Philips Personal Health Businesses across North America (Oral Healthcare, Male Grooming, Beauty, Domestic Appliances, Coffee, Mother & Child Care, and Sleep & Respiratory Care).

+ Maintain strong BMC (Business/Market Combination) interactions with strong performance management and continuous improvement.

+ Build, lead, and coach a diverse team of marketers across North America; Manage succession planning and recruitment for existing vacancies and future organizational design.

+ Own the strategy, alignment, and execution of the North America marketing programs to build the Philips master brand while also driving strengthening of the sub brands.

+ Manage our A&P effectively to deliver on our Market share BMC targets.

+ Become a LEAN ambassador for the team to improve and simplify existing processes and support excellence in execution by strengthening the commercial triangle.

+ Support the broader Philips transformation from products to solutions and new value added service models while also unlocking new categories in NA Market.

+ Manage a large budget for the function, making tough decisions and tradeoffs to best maximize value around product portfolio and brand activation.

+ Coordinate and review consumer research and turn into actionable market insights.

+ Approve and align go to market activities, including marketing strategy, coordination of marketing approach and objectives, and signing off on pricing strategy and communications plans.

+ Act as evangelist for Philips internally and externally in the market.

**We are looking for:**

+ Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of professional experience across marketing, sales, business development or other applicable fields (Master's Degree preferred).

+ High curiosity (know-how) for developing digital health value propositions - preferably in a B2C or B2B2C environment.

+ Deep consumer marketing experience required (FMCG or CPG); Healthcare experience a plus.

+ Experience in downstream marketing and communications required; Experience in upstream marketing (a plus).

+ Strong experience in digital and social media marketing.

+ Strong communication skills and ability to engage with BMC teams and senior stakeholders to drive results.

+ Ability to collaborate/work across businesses, functions and levels; work effective in a matrix structure with strong influencing and communication skills

+ Strong financial and business acumen.

+ Strong balance between daily management and long term strategic thinking.

+ A consistent track record of success in a rapidly changing environment.

+ Experience with LEAN principals and process improvement highly desired.

+ Experience with M&A (integrated and aligning marketing and branding high desired.

+ Strong project/program management skills

+ Strong sense of professionalism and "customer and quality" first mentality
