Job Description**

Marketing, Midstream and Processing (MMP) shall maximise corporate value creation in Statoil's mid- and downstream business through safe, reliable and efficient operations. We are responsible for capturing the full value potential of all marketed and traded products such as crude oil, liquids and natural gas.

MMP AM is responsible for maximizing value for Statoil (and the Norwegian State's Direct Financial Interest) through 1) optimization of its midstream asset portfolio by providing flow assurance for its upstream production and 2) value uplift through the extension of integrated value chains.

**Job Description**

Purpose of position:

Account for production purchased by Statoil's marketing affiliates from Statoil's production affiliates.

Provide purchased volume and value information to Statoil's production and marketing affiliates for accrual, cash settlement, regulatory reporting, and analytical purposes.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Track all production volumes moving through midstream infrastructure to determine quantities purchased by Statoil's marketing affiliates from Statoil's production affiliates.

Track, verify, and process (for cash settlement) all fees and pipeline imbalances pertaining to the gathering and processing of the Eagle Ford natural gas and natural gas liquids that Statoil's marketing affiliates purchase from Statoil's production affiliates.

On a monthly basis, create the basis for an intercompany purchase statement(s) to be used for accrual and cash settlement purposes between Statoil's marketing and production affiliates.

Regulatory compliance.


Master/Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance

5 or more years of Oil & Gas industry experience in a financial or trade accounting or settlements analyst role preferred

Strong competency in Microsoft applications, especially Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic a plus

Experience with energy trading systems a plus

Experience with process automation, continuous improvement corporate cultures (eg. LEAN), RPA projects plus.

Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
